Global-scale, Vital LNG Import Terminal
GasEntec Scope: GasEntec is providing Jordan with a global-scale, vital LNG import terminal in Aqaba to supplement unreliable gas pipelines from Egypt and Israel, ensuring Jordan’s long-term energy independence and security and pivoting the country to green natural gas.
GasEntec is delivering all technical components of the terminal and a forthcoming contract for the floating storage conversion.
The project was funded by Kuwait as a G2G transaction, enjoys sovereign Jordan guarantee and positive working capital.
Jordan LNG will have 720 mmscfd of send-out capacity and can process 2.4 mmtpa of LNG.
