Traditional FGSSs use heat from the main engine for their operations. This results in a loss of power and higher fuel consumption for the main engine. In addition, if the main engine shuts down, the FGSS stops. GAS Entec has designed an FGSS based on the Organic Rankine Cycle. The technology uses waste products of the main engine, such as scavenged air and exhaust gas, to power the FGSS.
GAS Entec’s FGSS can save businesses up to 70% in CAPEX and almost 7% in yearly fuel costs. Our experts provide a complete EPC package for these modules, including design and engineering, procurement, and fabrication.
